Miss Ernestine was one of the pillars of our Sacred Harp community in Northwest Florida/ Southeast Alabama. If there was a sing she would be there singing Treble. She sang from the heart and knew most of the songs from memory. I particularly enjoyed seeing her with her siblings. Their love for each other is wonderful. We will miss you Ernestine.

We remember Ernestine as a faithful treble singer and a regular attendee wherever there is a Sacred Harp Sing. She was among the first South Alabamans to visit and sing with us in Hoboken. We will always remember her.
