Mr. Brackin was a wonderful teacher. It is for sure that was his calling from God. I'm sure he would not have remembered my name or face. (He taught me science 26 years ago in 5th and 6th grades.) This came at a time when I had lost my father, and Mr. Brackin was someone I respected and looked up to as a father figure. His inspiration led me into the teaching profession where I have been for 13 years. My only prayer is that I am half as good as he was. He will be surely missed. GOOD-Bye, Mr. Brackin, this is one life you touched forever!
