Mrs. Betty Heath Moorehead, age 79, of Ozark, died Tuesday evening, October 30, 2007, in Ozark Health and Rehabilitation Center. Funeral services will be 2:00 P. M. Friday, November 2, 2007, from Mabson United Methodist Church with Reverend Tom Skeen and Reverend Dr. Billy D. Gaither officiating. Interment will follow in the church cemetery, Holman Funeral Home of Ozark directing. Her body will be placed in the Church one hour prior to service time Friday. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 5:00 P.M. until 7:00 P. M. Thursday evening. Mrs. Moorehead was born December 2, 1927 in Dale County to the late Houston and Eleanor Ard Heath. She worked with the Phillip Van Heusen Corporation until her retirement, and was an active member of Mabson United Methodist Church. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sister, Margie West, and her brother, Thomas Heath. Survivors include her husband, Q. C. Moorehead of Ozark; two sons and daughters-in-law, Bob and Dennie Moorehead of Ozark, Tommy and Marsha Moorehead of Lineville, Alabama; two sisters and brothers-in-law, Nancy and Morris Peters of Ozark, and Judy and Jeff Chancey of Ozark; one brother and sister-in-law, Jimmy and Gerotha Heath of Ozark; brother-in-law, Jake West of Ozark; and two grandchildren, Heath Moorehead and Abby Moorehead.
