In loving memory of Uncle Ernest. As a small boy, I remember Uncle Ernest hitching the mules to the rough cut pole that turned the cane mill. Circling the mill, the mule wore a red clay path in the field as Uncle Ernest fed the cane stalks and caught the sweet juice in gallon jars. He was a hard working man - on aircraft and the farm; spoke seldom but purposely: with integrity and humor. Aunt Myrtis made sure he ate well though he worked to hard to ever gain a pound. He came from good family roots; he nurtured them and left them stronger. Our hearts go out to all the family...may your memories always comfort and sustain each of you. He is missed. All our love, Bob and Gail
